Masonic Village Resident Celebrates 102nd Birthday 10/01/04

Mr. David H. Yowler, a resident of Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, celebrated his 102nd birthday on September 29.

A native of Harrisburg, Mr. Yowler enjoyed playing football, baseball and swimming. An avid traveler, he and his late wife, Feraline Jane, visited Jerusalem, Italy and the West Coast of the United States.

He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard and retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad. He is a member of the Robert Burns Masonic Lodge No. 464.

Mr. Yowler has one daughter, two great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

He says his secret to a long life is to, "Live day by day and let the Man upstairs take care of things."
