Edith Shank, a resident of Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, celebrated her 100th birthday on October 6.

A native of Vian, Pa., Mrs. Shank enjoys crocheting, tatting, knitting and sewing. Mrs. Shank is a member of Hershey Chapter No. 509, Order of the Eastern Star. She was employed by the Hershey Foods Corporation Factory.

Mrs. Shank and her late husband, George, raised four daughters. She has five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who keep her "active and young-at-heart."
