The Masonic Life Center in Elizabethtown now participates in the nationally recognized SilverSneakers® Fitness Program, which offers eligible members a free membership to the fitness center and participation in group fitness and aquatics classes.

The SilverSneakers Fitness Program is the nation's leading exercise program designed exclusively for Medicare-eligible health plan members. Healthcare Dimensions, which created and developed the program, partners with select health plans nationally to provide the SilverSneakers benefit. The program is being offered by the Masonic Life Center in conjunction with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and Highmark Blue Shield Medicare product members.

Eligible members receive a free basic membership at the Masonic Life Center, where they can enjoy specialized SilverSneakers classes focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. SilverSneakers participants can also enjoy other fitness center membership benefits, including use of the Wellness Library, therapy pool and indoor and outdoor pools.

The Masonic Life Center has been in operation since 1998 and opened to the community on January 1, 2004.
