Couple Celebrates 60th Wedding Anniversary
|
Clark and Cleo Hoffman celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends on
August 7, at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, Pa. They were married in 1937 in Towson, Md.
They met while attending Swatara Twp. High School (now know as Central Dauphine East)
and got married after dating for one year.
Mr. Hoffman retired from Conrail Railroad, Harrisburg, Pa.; and is a member of
Perseverance Masonic Lodge No. 21.
Mrs. Hoffman worked for Bell Telephone, Harrisburg, Pa.; and was a homemaker. She is a
member of Areme Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 192.
They both belong to the Neidig Memorial Church in Oberlin, Pa., and the Congregation of
Sell Chapel, Elizabethtown.
They had two sons, Jack, deceased, and Clark Jr., and have two grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
Their secret to their happy marriage: "lots of love!"
