Sampsell Joins Masonic Village
|
Patrick J. Sampsell, P.E., Esq., AICP, has been appointed chief
environmental and facilities officer for the Masonic Villages of the
Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. While he will be directing the
environmental services and facilities maintenance operations at all five
Masonic Village locations, his office will be based in Elizabethtown.
The chief environmental and facilities officer is a new leadership
position at the Masonic Village.
In this position, Sampsell will provide leadership and oversight
for campus and facilities planning, capital projects, external ventures
and real estate acquisition and development. He will be responsible for
providing leadership for the development and implementation of various
campus and facilities' master plans and/or land use.
He will work with leadership teams on ventures with corporate and
community partners.
Sampsell has worked as an engineer for 14 years, including his most
recent position as senior civil engineer and planner with RETTEW
Associates in Lancaster, where he was responsible for managing complex
engineering and planning projects.
Sampsell earned a bachelor's and master's degree in civil engineering
from Bucknell University and a doctorate in law from Widener University
School of Law. He has served in the Army National Guard for 15 years. He
is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania and
American Planning Associations.
Sampsell resides in Elizabethtown with his wife, Beth, and their two
sons.
