Health Fairs in Lafayette Hill and Sewickley a Success
 

Residents in Lafayette Hill and Sewickley were inspired to "spring into shape" at the communities' Health and Wellness Fairs in celebration of National Senior Health and Fitness Day in May.

More than 160 residents and employees in Sewickley enjoyed the Wellness Fair on May 20. Organized by staff members Patty Dietz, Jennifer Stratakis and Kelly Covone-Henning, the event featured 18 informational tables covering various topics, such as bone density scans, audiology, massage and myofascial trigger point therapy, herbs and aromatherapy.

In Lafayette Hill, more than 150 residents, employees and members of the surrounding community enjoyed the annual Health Fair on May 26.

The event featured 40 local and national organizations and businesses which provided health information, screenings and fun, educational activities to seniors. Attendees won give-aways and door prizes at the event, which was organized by staff members Kara Malone and Josh Barol.
