Eyer Promoted to Director of Retirement Living Services



Mark Eyer has been promoted to the new leadership position of director of retirement living services at the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown.

Eyer has been employed by the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown since 1996 as the supervisor of social services. He has also served as a key member of the Health Care Services Leadership team since that time.

In his new role, Eyer will be responsible for setting objectives, planning, organizing, staffing and directing the activities of retirement living on the Elizabethtown campus.

Eyer earned a bachelor's degree in social work from Lock Haven University. He is a certified Eden Alternative* Associate, a member of the Ethics Committee and a certified Validation Worker. Validation is an alternative method of communicating with the elderly. He previously served on the Resident Advocate Committee.

Prior to working for Masonic Village, he was employed at the Lancaster County Office of Aging.

Eyer resides in Lititz with his wife, Christine, and their children, Megan and Lauren.
