Administrator for Masonic Village at Dallas

Colleen M. Burns recently has been appointed administrator for the Masonic Village at Dallas, according to an announcement made by Joseph E. Murphy, chief executive officer of the Masonic Villages of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. The Masonic Village at Dallas is a retirement community planned for the grounds of the Irem Country Club.

In this position, Burns will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive marketing program, directing the operations of the community and maintaining a continuum of services for its residents with Greater Dallas area organizations.

Burns brings 18 years of leadership experience in health care and long-term care facilities to this position, having held administrator-level positions at Berwick Hospital Center, Berwick, Pa.; HCR-ManorCare, Kingston, Pa.; and St. Mary's Villa Campus, Moscow, Pa.

Burns holds a bachelor of science degree in health care management and an associate in science degree in marketing from King's College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

She is president of the Northeastern PA Long Term Care Association. She is a past board member and past government relations chair for the Pennsylvania Health Care Association, a past president of Pennsylvanians For Quality Care, a past board member for PANPHA and a past president of NOR-PANPHA. She resides in Dallas, Pa.
