Masonic Village To Host Seminar for Caregivers

The public is invited to Living in the "Shadow of the Ghosts" of Grief: A Seminar for Caregivers on Thursday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The presentation will take place in the Brossman Ballroom in the Freemasons Cultural Center of the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA . Registration begins at 8:15 a.m.
This informative program, presented by nationally known author, educator and grief counselor Alan D. Wolfelt, Ph.D, will help members of the caregiving community who want to further develop their knowledge and skills surrounding grief and loss. Dr. Wolfelt will introduce the concept of people living in the "shadow of the ghosts" of grief and the associated symptoms of inhibiting, suppressing or denying the pain of grief. He will also explore the value of "catch-up" mourning.
