Special Bridge Seminar Offered at Masonic Village

All bridge players, whether social, party or duplicate, will enjoy How to Make Your Partner s Bad Bids Look Good, a seminar to be presented on Tuesday, March 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Keystone Room of the Clubhouse at the Masonic Village, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, Pa.

The workshop will be presented by Marti Ronemus, a nationally known lecturer, teacher and humorist whose seminars are highlights at North American Bridge Tournaments and other events. Her articles are featured in international magazines and regional bridge journals. Her column, Bridge For the Rest of Us, can be read in ShowcasePA.

How to Make Your Partners Bad Bids Look Good is a light-hearted but sophisticated look at Play of the Hand, and according to Ronemus, anyone attending is guaranteed to be able to make more tricks with less good cards than when they arrived. The seminar is a mixture of lecture, play and analysis, tackling the difficult hands all players meet.

The cost for the program and all materials is $10 per person and includes light refreshments. No partner is needed.

The registration deadline is Friday, March 9. Those who are interested in attending the seminar can send a check, made payable to Henry Clay, to Henry Clay, 28 Jackson Drive, Elizabethtown, Pa. Please include your contact information.
