From an Accounting Assistant
to Chief Executive Officer,
Joseph E. Murphy shares what he likes about the Masonic Villages.

From the moment I began working in the Finance Department at the Elizabethtown community 30 years ago, I knew this was a unique place filled with special residents and special employees, individuals whom I would come to know as "family." When I took that position in 1974, my family grew by hundreds. And now 30 years later, my extended family includes thousands of extraordinary residents and staff from our communities throughout the state.
So, what do I like most about working at the Masonic Villages? The people, of course! They've touched my life. They've made me smile. They've made me laugh. They've made me proud. They've made me the person I am today.
I am truly blessed to be a part of the Masonic Villages family!
