Volunteer Services

The Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill recognizes and encourages both community and resident participation in our Volunteer Services Department.

Our Volunteers

Our volunteers represent many diverse backgrounds, interests and ages. They are women, men and youth from our communities, as well as residents at the Masonic Village, who care and want to make a meaningful difference in the comfort and happiness of our residents' lives. Some of our volunteers represent Masonic lodges, chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star, Job's Daughters, Rainbow Girls and DeMolay. Many volunteers, however, are individuals with no particular affiliation to the Masonic Village other than a genuine interest in helping mankind.

Benefits of Volunteering

Volunteer service at the Masonic Village provides opportunities to make new friends, learn different skills, and develop new interests. Volunteers also experience the rewarding satisfaction that comes from helping others. We look forward to having you join our program and hope that you will find your experience to be rewarding, enjoyable and memorable.

Opportunities

Prospective volunteers, through a personal interview, will share their motivation for volunteering, time commitment, interests, abilities and skills. Every effort is made to assign volunteers into an area which meets the interests of the volunteer and the needs of the Masonic Village.
