Rising just off the main entrance from North Broad Street is the Grand Staircase which leads to Corinthian Hall, the meeting room of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania.

The massive stairway is made of highly polished Tennessee marble. Looking up under the staircase the visitor sees the Seal of the Grand Lodge; the Great Seal of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and a large plaque encircled with representations of the four cardinal virtues -- Temperance, Fortitude, Prudence, and Justice.
