Order of the Eastern Star ScholarshipsType of Assistance: Grant Sponsored By: The Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star of Pennsylvania Amounts Awarded: One $1,000.00 grant awarded to a Job's Daughter, one $1000.00 grant awarded to a Rainbow Girl, and one $1000.00 grant to a DeMolay. Eligibility and Requirements: Awarded annually to one active Pennsylvania Rainbow Girl, one active Pennsylvania Job's Daughter and one active DeMolay in good standing who has already completed one year in an accredited college or university. (Must have an academic standing of C average or better.) Applicants must be of good moral character, have limited financial resources, and a willingness towards self-help. The applicant must be enrolled full time in a course of at least three (3) year's duration or accredited nursing program leading to an RN licensure. No applicant shall receive more than two (2) scholarships. Repayment: Repayment is not necessary. Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted through state-wide youth organization and received by the Educational Scholarship Committee by April 1, no exceptions.
