Knights Templar Educational Foundation Loan

Sponsored By: The Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America, Pennsylvania Division.

Eligibility and Requirements: Loans are granted for a total amount of $1,000.00 in the junior and senior year in college. There is a maximum of $2,000.00 per student. Students may also apply for a $2,000.00 loan in their senior year of college only. Loans are awarded to residents of Pennsylvania enrolled at an accredited undergraduate college, community college, or university.

Repayment: Terms for repayment are specified in the application as 10% of principal in the first year after graduation, 20% in the second year, 30% in the third year and 40% in the fourth year. The interest charged is simple
interest at a 5% rate, which begins upon graduation or withdrawal from the educational institution.

Application Deadline: Loan applications are accepted throughout the year. It usually takes a minimum of two months to process the request.
