Grand Lodge Higher Education LoanType
of Assistance: Loan Sponsored
By: The Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of PA Amounts Awarded: $2,000.00 per academic year. Eligibility and Requirements: Awarded annually to students of good standing enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program. Applicants must have completed their freshman year of college with a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average. There is a limit of three (3) loans for a total of $6,000.00 per recipient. The applicant must be a Pennsylvania Master Mason or the wife, son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, nephew, or niece of a living or deceased Pennsylvania Master Mason. If the Mason is deceased, he must have been in good standing at the time of his death. Active members of Pennsylvania DeMolay, Pennsylvania Rainbow, and Pennsylvania Job's Daughters are also eligible. Repayment: Upon graduation, the recipient has four years to repay the loan with interest at 6% per annum. Application Deadline: Applications may be made any time throughout the year through a Masonic Lodge Secretary.
