Customize a Poster for Your CHIP Event

You can print a custom version of the CHIP poster for your event.

Just follow the directions below. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view, customize, and print the poster. If you do not have the Reader, you can get it free here.

Please note that, if you are running a free version of Acrobat, you will only be able to save the original poster to your computer. Any custom information you type onto it can be printed, but not saved. Be sure to print a copy of your poster before closing the document.

Directions for creating a customized poster:

1. Be sure that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your system (Version 5.0 or later recommended).

2. Open the customizable poster by clicking on the link below.

3. If it is not already selected, select the hand tool in Acrobat ()

4. Move the hand over the area above the words "will sponsor the following" until the hand changes to a cursor, then click your mouse.

5. Type in the name(s) of the event sponsor(s). The text you type will be auto-sized to fit on one line.

6. Move the hand over the area to the right of the word "Date:" until the hand changes to a cursor, then click your mouse.

7. Type in the date(s) of the event.

8. Move the hand over the area to the right of the word "Time:" until the hand changes to a cursor, then click your mouse.

9. Type in the time(s) the event will run.

10. Move the hand over the area to the right of the word "Location:" until the hand changes to a cursor, then click your mouse.

11. Type in the location and address where the event will be held. You may enter multiple lines of text in this field. The text will be auto-sized to fit in the available space.

12. Check your information for accuracy.

13. Print your customized poster.
