HOW TO REQUEST A GRAND LODGE OFFICER AS A SPEAKER
Grand Lodge Officers, Past Grand Masters and District Deputy Grand Masters have NOT been included in this database, primarily due to the great demand on their time in the performance of their Masonic duties and many speaking engagements that require their attendance, such as Lodge Anniversaries and Banquets. Lodges MAY be able to secure the services of these brethren, but ALL REQUESTS must be made through their District Deputy Grand Master.

ACQUIRING DDGM APPROVAL OF SELECTED SPEAKERS
You are reminded that Masonic protocol requires the Master of a Lodge to secure the approval of his District Deputy Grand Master before any speaker may present programs in the Blue Lodges. This is usually done by way of review of an annual term program presented before a Senior Warden is installed, but if changes to the term program are made, new or replacement speakers should also be approved by the DDGM. This does NOT prevent you from booking a speaker in advance of the D.D.G.M.'s approval, and the earlier you make a request, the more likely you are to be successful in lining up the program you want.

SPEAKING TO NON-MASONIC AUDIENCES ON MASONIC TOPICS
Speakers who offer themselves to speak to non-Masonic audiences are willing to talk to groups that are affiliated with Freemasonry, such as Eastern Star, Amaranth, youth groups, etc. Where they know the people in their local community, they MAY speak to civic clubs, or even churches. However, they will not allow themselves to be put into a position of defending the fraternity at an anti-Masonic gathering. They will not participate in "public forums" or "investigations."

HOW TO BECOME A SPEAKER, OR TO RECOMMEND A SPEAKER
We are always on the lookout for additional high-quality speakers to add to this database. If you have heard a good speaker, send your recommendation to speakers@pagrandlodge.org and we will gladly research your recommendation. Masons who are speakers are encouraged to use the on-line form to forward information about themselves and the programs they present for their investigation. If approved by their District Deputy Grand Master, they will be included in this on-line directory.
