At the banquet, Bro. Anthony Garvey, Chief of Staff of Grand Lodge Operations, was honored by the PSP Masonic Degree Team for his help, cooperation, and guidance as a "True Ambassador of Law Enforcement and Freemasonry."
Bro. and Trooper McBreen presented a biographical sketch of each of the new brothers, after which they were afforded an opportunity to address the assembled brethren and guests.

Each of the newly Raised Brothers was given a lead crystal bowl as a gift from the Grand Master with their name, date, and the emblems of Freemasonry and the Pennsylvania State Police etched on them as a memento of this occasion. The Grand Master also presented each candidate with his commemorative medallion bearing the theme of his administration, "Faith, Family, Fraternity, Community." In his remarks he explained all that Pennsylvania Freemasons are doing to help their communities, highlighting the work of the Pa. Masonic Foundation for Children, and the Matching Charity Grants Program. To conclude his oration, the Grand Master declared

"Freemasonry and Law Enforcement-- Another Perfect Match!"
