Enjoyed the site again ,I was wondering if any lodges in Pa have had three real brothers [Ed.] (take the major parts) in the third degree? My two brothers and myself have been doing this in the Genesee-Wyoming of New York state . Just wondering if any other lodges have done the same. We are all past masters of Masonic Lodges . I am currently deployed in Iraq with C co 2-112th Infantry unit with the 56th Stryker Brigaide. I am impressed to see how many masons are in our unit. We need more people just like the ones whom i serve with in the masons. These guys are very devoted to their country and will stand up for what they beleive in.

Hi, i been doin reserch on the freemason fraternity, and i have friends who co-works are Mason's and for years they always said the same thing you cant just sign up to be Masons someone has to ask you to join. I never came across a Freemason face to face and talked about joining, i like the fact of being man together under one idea, i also love the fact that you guys want all your members to keep there faith in what ever they beleave in in before joining, so i could get any info on how to join, it would mean alot. thanks for taking the time to read my comment.Thanks again!

Hi there, I have in my possession a mason's ring that is quite stunning. My mom found it in my grandmothers jewery after she passed away, which was about 15 years ago. We believe my grandmother found the ring in Chester PA about 10 to 15 years before that if not more. My mom tried years ago to see if she could find the rightful owner but gave up. We are going to try again. We believe it was lost in the Chester area since that's where she found it. I know it's like we are looking for a needle in a haystack. But the ring is quite beautiful, and unusal looking. If anyone knows of any information that can reunite the owner or the family of the owner with the ring please email me. Greetings from Santa Monica-Palisades Lodge #307 F&AM. my grandfather was a Pensylvania Mason, living in Oakmont Pa. He may have been a member of Lodge #548 F&AM where I believe he received his 32nd degree... is this (or was this in the 1950-60 time frame) in Oakmont? Can you share any infromation about him and his Masonic history? Now that I am a Mason (I'm sure it would have pleased grampa if I has done so long ago), I am very curious about him and his lodge experience but have no one left to ask. I would like to start out by saying what a fantastic job on this site. I would also like to say hello to all the members of Beallsville lodge #237 and wish them and their families the very best in the new year. living away from lodge,I do so miss the fellowship of all my friends, but traveling around in northern Pa. makes my home lodge not far away after all. I hope to one day soon be able to visit and sit in Beallsville lodge once again. I would just like to add that I'm proud and thankful for being a member of such a wonderful fraternity!
