Fife and Drum Corp

By virtue of a dispensation, a degree team of Masons dressed in their uniforms of the Berlin Fife and Drum Corps conferred the Master Mason's Degree upon one of its members, Charles Lewis Heiple II in Meyersdale Lodge No. 554. Members of the degree team were from Meyersdale Lodge and Somerset Lodge No. 358.

The members of the Fife and Drum Corps and the stations or places in which they served are (l-r): Front - John S. Landis, P.M., as W.M.; Bro. Heiple, the new Master Mason; Jerry L. Lyons, D.D.G.M., 41st Masonic District (not a member of the Corps); and Richard A. Cook, P.M., as S.W. Back - Floyd Alvares as S.M.C.; Red Robb as S.D.; Donald J. Raupach as Pursuivant; Charles Robb as J.D.; Russ Hillegas as J.M.C.; Douglas Bell as Guide; and Jim Darr as J.W. Missing from the picture are Blair S. Krause who served as Treasurer and Richard L. Poorbaugh, P.M., who served as Secretary.
