The Grand Lodge of Arizona needs to locate a traveling Bible that began its journey in Gettysburg in 1984. In 1985, it was reported to have traveled to Florida, but there has been no word of its whereabouts since.
In 1984, it was donated by Robert Conrad, then Master of Tucson Lodge No. 4 and now the Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Arizona. It bears his name, address, and that of Tucson Lodge No. 4. It is a "Family Edition" Bible measuring 9 by 11 inches and travels with a blue booklet that contains the instructions for its travels and its permanent address.
The Grand Lodge of Arizona very much would like to have it back in time for Bro. Conrad's installation as Grand Master in June 2000.
Anyone with information as to its location, is asked to write to the Grand Lodge of Arizona at 345 W. Monroe, Phoenix, AZ 85003-1684, or e-mail the Grand Lodge at azgnd_ldg@uswest.net. |
