Lodge No. 106, Williamsport, and St. John Lodge No. 26, Prince Hall Affiliation, celebrated "Christmas in July" by ringing bells in Lycoming Mall to raise money for the Salvation Army. The two lodges raised $246.72, which Rick Betron (left), W.M. of Lodge 106, and Gus Wilson, (right) W.M. of St. John Lodge, heralded as quite a success since the charitable endeavor was a spur of the moment idea. Ronald A. Aungst, Sr., D.D.G.M., 18th Masonic District, said that both lodges hope to make this an annual summer event in addition to participating in the Christmas Season bell-ringing.
