Testimonmial for 2 Grand Masters

On the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, several hundred Pennsylvania and New Jersey Masons, most of whom are law enforcement officers, and their ladies honored the Grand Masters from their respective states at a testimonial dinner in the Harrisburg Hilton. Both M.W. Grand Master Ross Van Ness Bayer of New Jersey and R.W. Grand Master James L. Ernette of Pennsylvania are retired from the state police of their respective states.

Bro. and Hon. Seamus P. McCaffery, Judge of the Municipal Court of the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, served as the master of ceremonies. Bro. and Trooper Howard Silbaugh of the Pennsylvania State Police and an Aide to the Grand Master, offered the testimonial to Grand Master Ernette and introduced him for remarks. Bro. John R. Foglia, a Lieutenant of the New Jersey State Police and R.W. Senior Grand Deacon, offered the testimonial to Grand Master Bayer.
