Knobels' Amusement Resort was the setting for the first family picnic of District 11. All 240+ attendees, consisting of brethren and families, enjoyed the day. Each lodge took a part in providing all the picnic foods and related items. Following the noon meal, all children under the age of 18 were provided a book of tickets for all the rides available throughout the park.
