Celebrate Bro. Ben Franklin's 300th Birthday
at the Greater Pittsburgh Masonic Center, off Cemetary Lane, Ross Twp.
Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is free & the public is welcome.
Western Pennsylvania comes together to recognize
our state's greatest patriot, inventor and ambassador.
Margaret C. Jacob, Ph.D., professor of history at UCLA, will speak on "The Secret Life of Ben Franklin." She is the author of many publications, and we
are fortunate to have her travel to Pennsylvania for this event.
All members of Masonic lodges are invited to attend with their families and
friends. Officers are encouraged to wear the regalia of their office and join the
procession into the auditorium at the start of the event.

The event is hosted by John E. Mair Lodge No. 729 in conjunction with the Scottish
Rite of Freemasonry, Valley of Pittsburgh.
The program is funded in part by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council and the
National Endowment for the Humanities, We the People Initiative on American
history.
