Coraopolis Lodge No. 674 and members of the 47th
Masonic District Family participated in the Annual
VFW Coraopolis Community Memorial Day Parade
on May 29, 2006. The Masonic family contingent was led
by bagpiper Bro. Blaine Morrison, a 50-year member of
Coraopolis Lodge (shown above, center, between Worshipful
Master Raymond E. Roberts, P.M., and Senior Warden,
Harry J. Jackson, P.M.) and the young men of the Steel City
DeMolay Chapter, who carried the U.S. and Masonic flags
and the lodge banner. Members of the Ohio Valley Rainbow
Assembly No. 157 also joined in the fun. Refreshments
and an hour of fellowship at the lodge hall followed the
parade. Kudos to Bro. Roberts and parade coordinator,
George E. Scott, P.M., for their support of the Masonic youth,
community groups and promoting Freemasonry in the district!
