Elizabethtown Cottages Take Shape Cottage construction is in full swing at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown! With 102 cottages to be built on the site, the first 18 units are scheduled for completion and occupancy in November. Construction for the remaining cottages will continue throughout 2005 and 2006. Within a neighborhood-type setting, cottages will feature stone, brick or stucco exteriors with some of the units offering two-car garages and basements. Inside, standard features will include sunrooms, cathedral ceilings with skylights, spacious living accommodations and other finishing touches. New residents have 30+ additional options from which to choose. The cottages are being built in response to the tremendous demand for this type of retirement living option. Many people, who previously may have moved to other types of adult retirement communities, are recognizing the value and benefits of living on a campus where quality health care services are available if needed in the future.

Even with the new construction, the waiting list for all units including apartments and cottages continues to grow. Therefore, if you are considering a move to the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown some time in the future, we encourage you to place your name on our Priority List NOW. If you are at least age 55, you may place your name on the waiting list, and at age 65 you are eligible to move to Retirement Living. One spouse, in the case of a couple, needs to meet the aforementioned criteria.
