Father is Brother After Son Confers Degrees
It was a special night for the Burtt family in Harmony Lodge No. 429, Zelienople, when the father became a brother. Robert E. Burtt, Jr., P.M. (second from left), conferred the Master Mason's degree on his father, Robert E. Burtt, Sr. (second from right). The son also had conferred his father's Entered Apprentice and Fellow Craft degrees. "They were the toughest degrees I've ever conferred," he said, "but I'm very proud to be able to call my father 'brother.'" With the Burtts are William M. Baxter, W.M. (left), and S.
