For 35th Year, Mason-Knights Support Easter Seals
Four Pennsylvania Lodges in the 8th Masonic District, three Knights of Columbus Councils of Lower Bucks County, and Trenton Forest No. 4, Tall Cedars of Lebanon in New Jersey celebrated their 35th year of benefiting Easter Seals at their annual Mason-Knight Charity Ball in the Knights of Columbus Hall in Levittown. The black tie event was an evening of dinner, dancing, and a Chinese auction that culminated a year's worth of cooperative fund-raising efforts that raised $12,000 this year. The Masons and Knights of Columbus have established a tradition of class and elegance in their support of Easter Seals by helping the local children and adults throughout the Delaware Valley. With the Easter Seals poster girl, Alexa Johnston (front center) and her mother, Cathy Johnston (left), and sister, Katrina, present at the Fairless Hills-Levittown Lodge No. 776, a check for $12,000 was presented to the Easter Seals by the Mason-Knight Committee, pictured (l-r): Front row -- Jesus Rodriguez, D.D.G.M., 8th Masonic District; George Monaghan, W.M., Newtown Lodge No. 427, Woodside; Ron Robbins, W.M., Bristol Lodge No. 25; Kenneth Harkanson, Grand Knight, St. Joseph the Worker Council No. 4215, Levittown; Carl Webster, Executive Director & CEO of Easter Seals, Philadelphia; John Reed, P.M., W.M., Fairless Hills-Levittown Lodge No. 776; and Barbara Jacobs and David Jacobs, P.M., Fairless Hills-Levittown Lodge No. 776.
