On June 12, nearly 500 prospective residents attended a retirement living open house at Elizabethtown. The event provided an array of opportunities: informative speakers, a question-and-answer session, a luncheon, and tours.

The activities of the day began in the Freemasons Cultural Center. In the newly renovated Deike Auditorium, an overview of retirement and residential living was presented. Following the session, a luncheon was served in the Brossman Ballroom, with residents of retirement living serving as table hosts and hostesses. The luncheon provided guests with the opportunity to interact and socialize with residents who currently reside in the community. In the afternoon, tours were offered of residents' apartments and cottages.

Currently, there is a waiting list for all areas of retirement living at Elizabethtown. Prospective residents were encouraged to plan for their future by placing their names on the priority list.
