Bro. Richard L. Knoebel was surprised on July 4th (hence the Uncle Sam top hat), with a very special gift from R.W. Grand Master Robert L. Dluge, Jr. and the Pennsylvania Masonic Foundation for Children in recognition of the 75th anniversary of Knoebel's Grove Amusement Park. Grand Master Dluge said that it was a great pleasure to present him with a glistening white golf cart sporting the logos of the Foundation for Children and the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania which will catch the eyes of the million-plus visitors to the amusement park each year. Bro. Knoebel, a member of Elysburg Lodge No. 414, has been a strong supporter of Masonry in many ways for many years. Accompanying the Grand Master for the presentation were Earl D. Mordan, Jr., Junior Grand Deacon, and Raymond G. Brown, Executive Director of the Foundation for Children.
