A Window of Opportunity in Sewickley

Bro. Paul and Florence Peet first heard about Masonic Village at Sewickley in 2001. After moving in a year ago, they can hardly believe they are living on the beautifully landscaped campus that they now call home. And to make things even better, Mrs. Peet's sister-in-law, Dorothy Hamburg, will soon be relocating to the village from Sedona, AZ.

The Peets represent the fast-growing, 65-plus age group that is turning to continuing care retirement communities for the security and lifestyle they offer. "We loved our former home, but keeping up with the house and cutting grass all the time became more than I wanted to do," said Bro. Peet. "As soon as I would get the leaves raked from our maple trees, the snow would fall, and I was out shoveling the driveway."

The Peets are among the 300 residents who are happy they made the decision when they did. They knew that a brand new community like Masonic Village was a window of opportunity. It allowed them to have choices.

sewThe increasing popularity of the Masonic Village can be attributed to numerous reasons, especially financial security. Through a lifecare agreement, should the Peets ever need assisted living or nursing care, they will continue to pay the same monthly rate that they pay in retirement living.

Masonic Village is now over 80 percent reserved. Its retirement living apartment residences are connected to a two-story clubhouse filled with activity rooms, computer center, library, branch bank, hair salon, general store, assembly room, dining and much more. The campus also features a wood shop, horseshoe area, large swimming pool and fitness center. Open house presentations will be held on Aug. 25 and Sept. 29.
