Annual Grand Communication
Incoming Worshipful Masters, who are planning on attending the St. John's Day communication, should be making the necessary arrangements now for transportation and overnight accommodations. Lodges and/or Districts can join together in chartering a motorcoach, thereby sharing the rental cost. Of course, wives are invited. A suggestion for planning would be to depart your region on Monday, December 26 early in the morning to give your group time to enjoy the Christmas attractions in and around the Hershey / Harrisburg area. Visit the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown (only 10 miles away) and go shopping at an outlet mall. In the evening enjoy a good dinner at a local restaurant. On Tuesday, Grand Lodge convenes at 10:00 a.m. Following lunch, you can have a very leisurely return trip home or plan on additional points of interest along the way. Need help in planning? Grand Master William Slater II has authorized the use of Lodge funds to provide hired transportation to the December Annual Grand Communication of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania to be held at the Hershey Convention Center. On Tuesday, December 27, at 12:00 noon, Brother Ronald A. Aungst, Sr. will be installed as the 116th Right Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Pennsylvania.
