The Grand Lodge officers and their ladies enjoy watching the sunset behind downtown Pittsburgh. Brethren enjoyed lunch outdoors after the June Quarterly Communication.
Grand Master Aungst congratulations his son, Dr. Ronald Jr., Grand Sword Bearer, after Bro. Jeffrey Coy, R.W. Grand Treasurer, so eloquently recognized him for completing his doctorate program, specializing in organic chemistry at Penn State University. Bro. Daniel Hinds is congratulated by Grand Master Aungst on receiving the Pennsylvania Franklin Medal for his years of selfless, dedicated service as Superintendent of the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia.
Grand Master Aungst addresses the brethren personally as he delivers his remarks "on the level." Bro. Stephen Gardner, R.W. Deputy Grand Master, stands with Bro. Ronald A. Aungst, Sr., R.W. Grand Master, in the East at the opening of lodge.
Grand Lodge Officers greeted guests as they boarded a Gateway Clipper Cruise for an evening of dinner and relaxation. Bro. Thomas K. Sturgeon, R.W. Senior Grand Warden, stands with other appointed Grand Lodge Officers in the West.
Bro. Jeff Biddle, D.D.G.M. for the 49th District, and his wife, Susan, surprise First Lady Norma Aungst with a set of earrings made from a tea pot, similar to her pin. Brethren and their ladies enjoy a delightful evening on the cruise.
