Seven Awarded Carl W. Stenberg Scholarships

For 2003, The Pennsylvania Masonic Foundation for Children awarded Carl W. Stenberg, Jr. Scholarships of $1,000 a year for four years to seven Pennsylvania students.

This scholarship was begun by Carl W. Stenberg, Jr., R.W.P.G.M. in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and is offered to all students throughout the Commonwealth who have been involved in the Student Assistance Program in their respective schools. Again, the number of applicants was outstanding. The 20 finalists were required to submit a personal video in which they explained why they should be awarded the four-year scholarship.

The winners are:

Ashlei Eckert, St. Mary's, who will attend St. Francis University.

Laci Rickabaugh, Hesston, who will attend Bedford Allegheny College of Maryland.

Laura Ann Nebel, Monaca, who will attend LaRoche College.

Marcus Carter, State College, who will attend Loch Haven College.

Julianne Greene, Slatington, who will attend Marywood University.

Bonnie Watmuff, West Chester, who had not designated a school.

Alicia Null, Montoursville, who will attend The Pennsylvania College of Technology.
