On Feb. 21, officers of Plum Creek-Monroeville Lodge No. 799, Pittsburgh, under dispensation from the Grand Master, held their meeting in colonial clothing in recognition of the 260th anniversary of Bro. and President George Washington becoming a Freemason. The lodge was lit by candle light only, as it would have been in colonial times, and the brethren enjoyed a talk about what it might have been that drew a man like Bro. Washington to our Craft.
