Erie Brethren Attend Emergency Training

Erie-area brethren watch intently during CPR/AED training.
Having recently installed two AED units at the Masonic Temple in Erie, the Temple Association arranged to have participants from the five owner bodies and the building managers trained in CPR/AED by the American Red Cross.

On Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, 12 brethren, including Richard N. Fitzsimmons, District Deputy Grand Master for District 24, assembled in the Lodge Room to receive the training from Bro. Norman A. Schlosser, Junior Warden of Lawrence Lodge No. 708, a certified Red Cross Instructor.

This cross section of members will now afford the lodges, appendent bodies, and others attending functions held in the building, a dozen brethren who have been trained to respond in the event of an emergency.
