Construction Project Recognized for Excellence

R.W.G.M. William Slater II will host a special open house on Saturday, June 12, at the Masonic Village at Sewickley. Grand Master Slater played on integral role in bringing the Masonic Villages' "Mission of Love" to western Pennsylvania.

Construction at the Sewickley community was completed in Fall 2003 and now stands as the region's premier retirement living option, with more than half of the 228 units occupied or reserved. For those who have not yet toured the 60-acre community, the open house on June 12 will provide the perfect opportunity to experience first-hand the beauty and quality of the Masonic Village at Sewickley. A brief presentation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by tours and a light buffet. As the number of attendees will be limited to 175, please be sure to make your reservations early for this special event.

According to B.J. Franks, Executive Director, "We are seeing younger seniors make the move because they are busier outside their homes. They want the freedom to come and go without worrying about home maintenance." Residents enjoy the convenience of activities, chef-prepared meals, fitness center, group trips, and much more.
