Initiative Launched at Warminster to Fund Renovations at East Home
Results from a resident evaluation of the Masonic Eastern Star Home-East at Warminster revealed the need for essential improvements and renovations to ensure and provide a better quality of life for current and future residents at the home. The Masonic Eastern Star Home-East became part of the Masonic Homes of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania in 1998. The Home was founded by the Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania, Order of the Eastern Star, in 1974, and provides nursing services for up to 28 residents and assisted living services for a maximum of 34 residents. Essential improvements and renovations are needed to the following areas of the home:
Special gift opportunities are available, ranging from $1,000 for outer foyer furniture to $56,000 for window treatments. Brethren, Lodges, and friends, particularly those located in Southeastern Pennsylvania, are invited to make a special gift to help the residents served by the Masonic Eastern Star Home-East. A gift opportunity may be given to honor or in memory of a beloved family member, Lodge or Chapter member, respected friend, or any individual. Outright contributions of cash, stocks, bonds, and real estate will be welcomed and appreciated. Commitments payable over three years are encouraged.
