Masons of Note for May
 It's three in a row at Milnor Lodge No. 287, Pittsburgh! Three generations of Pfisters -- grandfather, father, and son -- are in successive appointed chairs. William A. (right), the elder statesman of the Pfister family is S.M.C.; Derek E. (left), the youngest is J.M.C; and David A., who is both a son and a dad, is Pursuivant.
During a recent trip to Scotland, Herbert L. Feldman, Solomon Lodge No. 231, Pittsburgh, visited the Lodge of Edinburgh, whose date of origin is unknown, but is unquestionably the continuation of a purely operative Lodge of that name. He said he received a warm welcome and was presented with a recording of the Lodge Minutes of the year 1598.
 James J. Dowling, W.M. (right), Doylestown Lodge No. 245, welcomed James M. Bradford, W.M., Star in the East Lodge No. 55, Prince Hall Affiliation, to the February Stated Meeting. Bro. Bradford spoke on "The History of Prince Hall Masonry" in recognition of Black History Month.
Ellis P. "Pete" Updegraff, Warren Lodge 310, Collegeville, was elected and installed as Supreme Tall Cedar of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon of North America for 2003 at the midwinter conference in Lancaster in January. He is a member of Norristown Forest No. 31, Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
