Lodge of Research Meets June 8 in Altoona

The Pennsylvania Lodge of Research will hold its next meeting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, in the Altoona Masonic Temple, 600 Jackson Ave., Altoona. Lunch will be available from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Two research papers concerning facets of Masonic history will be presented. All Master Masons are welcome.

The Research Lodge Editorial Committee, comprising Chairman Blaine F. Fabian, Thomas W. Jackson, Jay A. Izenour, Gerald W. West, and Willard Wetzel, has been organized. Paul D. Fisher, W.M. of the Lodge of Research, and James L. Sieber, S.W., are ex-officio members of the Editorial Committee. Plans are underway to print the first volume of "Transactions" early next year.

Membership in the Lodge of Research is open to all Master Masons belonging to lodges recognized by the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania.
