Residents Celebrate Mardi Gras

Retirement living residents at the Masonic Homes at Elizabethtown didn't have to travel to Louisiana to experience the excitement of Mardi Gras. Instead, they enjoyed a Mardi Gras party on Feb. 12 in the Brossman Ballroom at the Masonic Homes, complete with masks, beads, and favors.

The masquerade party featured a New Orleans-style buffet with shrimp and Cajun remoulade sauce, sweet potato sticks, tenderloin with bourbon sautéed button mushrooms and crabmeat, and flan.

They danced to the sounds of the X-Factor Band after dinner.
