Double Pride: W.M. Passes, Raises Two Sons

It was double the pride and twice the joy for William T. Reed, W.M. of Susquehanna Lodge No. 364, Millersburg (center), when, with proper dispensation, he conferred the degrees to pass and raise two of his sons on Nov. 21. Timothy W. (left) and Thomas W. (right) petitioned Susquehanna Lodge in September and were entered in November. The father, wanting his sons to be made Master Masons while he was still Worshipful Master in 2001, asked John D. Witmer, Jr., then-D.D.G.M., 2nd Masonic District, for a dispensation to confer two degrees on the two sons early and in the same meeting.
