50-Year Emblem for R.W.P.G.M. Williamson
Robert L. Dluge, Jr., R. W. Grand Master, (second from right), presented a 50-Year Emblem of Gold to Samuel C. Williamson, R.W. P.G.M. (right), in Valley Lodge No. 613, Turtle Creek, on March 13. Taking part in the presentation were Kurt R. Tesche, D.D.G.M., 54th Masonic District (left), and Eugene F. Hlavac, W.M, Valley Lodge. Bro. Williamson, a Past Master of Valley Lodge, served as Grand Master in 1982 and 1983.

Jack T. Duffey, P.M., the 3rd Masonic District Blood/Organ Donor Chairman, is also the Chairman of the Blood Committee of the Waynesboro American Legion Post No. 15. He recently led a blood donor drive that attracted 246 persons donating 215 units of blood, enabling the American Red Cross to exceed its 200-unit goal. On behalf of the Legion Post, Bro. Duffey accepted an award of appreciation presented by Melissa Ann Jeka, Miss Pennsylvania 2000.

At its annual meeting, the Grand Lodge of Washington awarded its Bill Paul Horn Memorial Masonic Medal to Thomas R. Jackson, R.W.P.G.S. of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. Though created in 1990, Bro. Jackson is the recipient of that Grand Lodge's first medal for distinguished service, having made a quiet consistent, and significant contribution to the promotion and success of our Fraternity.
