The Freemasons Cultural Center opened on March 17. This new area was built to accommodate the continuous growth on the campus and the need for space for resident and staff programming, meetings, special events, and additional requests made by the Fraternity and the community. The Brossman Ballroom, named in honor of Bro. Jay G. Brossman, Ephrata Lodge No. 665, for his continual support of the Masonic Homes, has space to seat 1,200 persons for programs or 750 persons in a dining setting. The Freemasons Cultural Center also comprises the new Museum, new recreation areas, the newly renovated Deike Auditorium, White Ballroom, and Masonic Lodge Hall. The main information desk for the Masonic Homes has been relocated to this area. The Visitors Center is a central location for visitors to inquire about the Masonic Homes, receive directions to the various buildings on campus, and connect with a tour guide. Another new attraction is the Three Loaves Café, offering a wide variety of foods and desserts in a casual dining atmosphere for residents, employees, and visitors. |
