On Thursday and Friday, Oct. 16 and 17, the Masonic Homes hosted 53 Admissions Counselors for an annual training session. The two-day session was for counselors to learn more about the facility, to see first-hand how it operates, and to reunite with old friends and fellow counselors.

The Admissions Counselors are available in Pennsylvania, Florida, and some neighboring states to assist applicants and their families who are seeking admission to the Village Green Area and the Masonic Health Care Center. They assist individuals in completing their applications and are available to answer questions.

Masonic Homes welcomed ten Eastern Star Admissions Counselors who now provide additional assistance to those seeking admission to the Masonic Homes and the Masonic Eastern Star Homes. They are: Jane Bleam, Margaret Nies, Jane Newcomer, Lorene Sinclair, Marjorie Timchak, Bonnee Wettlaufer, Margaret Knaub, Deborah Nale and Jeff Nale.

Cindy Stefl, Administrator at the Masonic Eastern Star Home - West, and Joyce Wadsworth, Assistant Administrator at the Masonic Eastern Star Home - East attended the very successful session.
