Residential Respite Cottage Now Residential Services Only The Committee on Masonic Homes acted to meet substantial needs specified by members and the community to provide more residential accommodations for adults with mild to moderate mental retardation. Their decision approved using the Residential Respite Cottage at the Masonic Homes at Elizabethtown as a residential home on a permanent basis rather than continuing to offer accommodations for short-term respite services. The action also considered the recent declining interest in short-term respite services. The residential program will serve eight adults on a permanent basis and will no longer offer an accommodation for short-term respite services. |
