The new R. W. Grand Treasurer, Brother Jeffrey W. Coy is a Past Master of Cumberland Valley Lodge No. 315 in Shippensburg, PA. He is the Assistant Choir Director as well as the Assistant Organist for the Valley of Harrisburg A.A.S.R., and is an Honorary Member of the Supreme Council, 33°. He is a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon; George Washington Royal Arch Chapter No. 176; George Washington Council No. 66; Continental Commandery No. 56; the Royal Order of Scotland, and Red Cross of Constantine. Bro. Coy is also a recipient of the DeMolay International Legion of Honor. He has also served the Grand Lodge as the Grand Organist for the Central Pennsylvania area.

Bro. Coy is a graduate of Shippensburg University. He and his wife, Jo Anne, live in the Shippensburg area where she is an English teacher in the Shippensburg Area School District. They are members of Memorial Lutheran Church where he has been the organist for 28 years.

Bro. Coy is serving his 11th term as State Representative for the 89th Legislative District of Franklin and Cumberland counties. He was elected to his first two-year term in 1982. He is also a Director of the Orrstown Bank and is a member of many other community organizations.

In the House of Representatives, Rep. Coy serves on the Ethics and Rules committees and is treasurer of the Joint State Government Commission, a research arm of the General Assembly. He is one of two state House members who serve on the Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education, which oversees the fourteen state owned universities. He is a former Chairman of the Shippensburg University Board of Trustees. He has also been active on multi-state committees. He served nine years on the Chesapeake Bay Commission with representatives from Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.
