On Saturday, December 12, 1998, during the dedication of the new addition to Memorial Hall at the Masonic Conference Center-Patton Campus, Bro. Samuel C. Williamson got the surprise of his life when Right Worshipful Grand Master James L. Ernette proclaime d the opening of the new "Williamson Multimedia Center." Upon making this declaration, Bro. Williamson was directed to unveil his portrait, which now hangs in the lobby of the new facility.
This was just one of many highlights in a day which saw the opening of a new facility, the honoring of a distinguished laborer for Freemasonry, and the initiation of 37 new members of the Order of DeMolay in a class named for the Right Worshipful Grand Ma ster.

Following the dedication program the multimedia center was open for demonstrations. A luncheon was held where representatives of various organizations which use the Patton Campus were greeted, including the D.A.R.E. program, the G.R.E.A.T. program, the P a. Department of Education, and the Masonic Homes-Patton School Alumni Association.

After lunch, the Grand Master and his party were received by the officers of Pennsylvania DeMolay, and witnessed an excellent conferral of the Initiatory and DeMolay Degrees, and the Flower Talk. Grand Master Ernette presented each new DeMolay member wi th a certificate commemorating their initiation in a class in his honor. He also presented his Grand Master's Medallion to the State Master Councilor.
